Dear JFK Middle and High School Families:

Hello John F. Kennedy Middle and High School Families and welcome to this month’s Principal’s Message.

    Return to (4)!

We are excited to announce that on Monday, May 24th we will welcome all hybrid learners back to school for (4) days per week of in-person instruction.  Please see this important letter on our website for details including information about increased traffic on campus; breakfast and lunch in the schools; and our Wednesday Remote Learning which will remain unchanged.  While it is very close to the end of the school year, we believe this opportunity to bring our students back will benefit them for final exams and in preparation for next year.  We look forward to seeing you on May 24th!

    Academic Update

Last Friday, May 14th I released a letter to our HS families regarding the end-of-year grading practices and procedures for our Regents Exams.  It is important that all students enrolled in a course ending with a Regents Exam complete this Google Form Survey notifying us of your intention to attempt the Regents Exam or accept the exemption.  An explanation of pathways to course credit and the revised guidelines for this year’s NYS Regents Exams are explained in this letter.  I encourage our HS families to read the letter closely.  Middle School students and families enrolled in Mr. Miller’s Algebra I and Mr. Gedeon’s Earth Science courses should also pay special attention to the letter.  A similar letter regarding the end of year procedures will be sent to Middle School families in the days ahead.

It is important to note that students receiving fully remote instruction can not be mandated to attend school for the sole purpose of taking a Regents Examination. Please see the JFK Regents Exam Schedule on our website.

    Extra Academic Support Period

We understand some of our students may need some additional support in order to end the year successfully.  To that end, our teachers at both the MS and HS will be inviting students into school and/or meeting with them virtually between June 17th and June 24th.  Teachers will be communicating directly with students and families in order to invite them into school for these makeup work sessions.  If your child is required to come to school for extra support during these days, they will be contacted directly.  If you require transportation on these days, please let us know so we can coordinate.

    Course Selection

*A special note for our JFK High School students and families: All course changes for the 2021-2022 school year are due to counselors by June 30th. Please contact your child’s counselor with questions about next year’s course selections if you require any changes.

    Last Day of Instruction

Please note that the last day of instruction for the HS is Wednesday, June 16th and the last day of instruction for our MS is Thursday, June 17th.  Additionally, this year we will be observing the Juneteenth Holiday, which means school will be closed for all students on Friday, June 18th.  There will be no exams, in-person, or online learning on Friday, June 18th in observance of Juneteenth.

    Graduation & Moving Up Day

As you may be aware, High School Graduation is set for Friday, June 25th on our JFK football field. The start times for the ceremonies will be 5:00 and 6:30 PM. Similar to last year, a detailed letter will be sent to families of our Seniors explaining all the need-to-know information for this year’s event including how many tickets each graduate will receive, and the process for contact tracing required by NYS.  The rain date is scheduled for Saturday, June 26th with start times of 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.

Our Middle School is pleased to host an 8th Grade Moving Up Day for students on Thursday, June 17th in-school.  The event will be live-streamed for families and taped to be watched on-demand at a later time. Similar to graduation, a detailed letter will be sent to 8th grade families in the days ahead. We look forward to hosting all of our 8th graders together in the Auditorium to recognize this important transition in their lives.

    Spring Musical

We are pleased to announce that the Spring musical will be presented to the community in the first week of June.  This year’s production is entitled 1776, and will become available to the community on-demand the week of Monday, June 7th on our website.  Similar to a local dance recital, the show will be professionally video taped and distributed to families of participants following the performance.  A special thank you to our advisors Mr. Refermat and Ms. Nebel for their work with our students! Break a leg!

    PTO Event

Our District-wide Chicken BBQ is scheduled for Friday, June 4th at JFK High School.  Dinners are $12 each and details can be found here: Chicken BBQ

We encourage everyone to come out and support our PTOs!  In a year of limited fundraising, this event can generate funds which will, in turn, be used to directly benefit our students.  We look forward to seeing you drive-through on June 4th and serving you a delicious meal!

    Teacher Feature

At this time we’d like to invite our viewers into our Band Room for this month’s teacher feature.  This month we will highlight Mr. Keller, Mr. Murray, and Mrs. Schieder for their efforts preparing our 2021 Spring Concerts.  We look forward to this year’s Spring Concert Series which will be streamed live from our HS Gymnasium.

The HS Spring Concert will be Friday, May 21st at 9:15 am.  We are also excited to announce that this Spring our Superintendent Mrs. Galenski will be participating in the HS Concert, playing flute alongside our students.  As you may know, music and special area instruction is near and dear to Mrs. Galenski’s heart, and an area of high priority for her.  We are grateful for her support of our program.. Here you can see her rehearsing with our students! She is an accomplished musician, and we are excited to see her perform with the JFK HS Band.

Our MS Concert will be Thursday, June 3rd at 10:45 am.

Links for local live streaming will be posted to our website.  Enjoy!

    In Closing

On behalf of our entire team here at JFK Middle and High School I would like to thank our community for their continued support.  In what was a challenging, unique, and sometimes unpredictable school year, we worked together as a team to benefit our students.  We know this would not be possible without your support.  So thank you again, and please know, we are grateful for your partnership.  As always, thank you for watching!

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Julian

Dear JFK Middle and High School Families:

Hello John F. Kennedy Middle and High School Families and welcome to this month’s Principal’s Message.

I hope that you enjoyed your Spring Recess and are ready for the final weeks of school. In this update, we will share some key information related to academics, sports, and events, and recognize our Seniors who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.

Additionally, this month’s Teacher Feature will showcase JFK MS’s 6th grade science teacher Mrs. Zoladz, who has been planning safe and highly engaging hands-on science activities for her students this year.

Lastly, stay tuned for a special performance from our Varsity Cheerleaders.

    Academic Update

Friday, April 16th was the close of the 3rd marking quarter at both JFK Middle and High School. Report cards became available on the parent/student portal on Tuesday, April 20th, and a physical copy was mailed to homes on Wednesday, April 21st.

    State Assessment

As you may know the USDE denied NY’s waiver request regarding State assessments.  As a result we are moving forward with Middle School State Assessments in ELA, Math, and Grade 8 Science, and at the high school we will be administering the following (4) Regents Exams: Algebra I; Living Environment; Earth Science; and English Language Arts.

Looking ahead, I will be releasing a letter to the high school community in mid/late May regarding Regents Exams.

    PTO Events

I want to thank our Middle and High School PTO officers and members for organizing several events and recognitions this year!  Our PTOs have been a great support for our faculty and students, and we greatly appreciate all that you do.

    NTHS

Recently, 5 JFK Seniors were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and I’d like to take a moment to recognize this incredible accomplishment!

A total of 215 students from 27 Western New York high schools have been inducted into Erie 1 BOCES’ chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).  This year’s cohort includes five seniors from JFK: Emily Boyer (Cosmetology), Miranda Johnson (Criminal Justice), Colin Pajak (Aviation Technology), Samantha Reilly (Barbering) and Julia Stechenfinger (Cybersecurity & Networking).

In order to qualify for acceptance into NTHS, a student must be nominated by his or her teacher, have a 90 percent or higher average in their career and technical education (CTE) course, and maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 85. Furthermore, students must demonstrate skill development and leadership, and hone their responsibility and good character.

Emily, Miranda, Colin, Samantha, and Julia--Congratulations, you have made JFK very proud!

    Class of 2021 Football Game

I’d like to thank our Senior Class Officers & Advisers; Varsity Football & Cheer Coaches, parents and players; and all members of our JFK community who were involved in the planning of our Class of 2021 football game.  Over the last several weeks we came together and developed a plan for interested Seniors to come and watch a football game during their final year of high school.  This past Saturday, April 17th, Seniors were able to watch their JFK Bears battle against the Akron Tigers on a cool, but rain-free afternoon.  Next up our Bears will take on Gowanda on Sunday April 25th. Kickoff will be at 1PM.

    Thank you for reading!

  • Principal's Message - February 2021

Posted by Robert N. Julian, Jr. on 2/11/2021

Hello JFK Middle and High School Families:

Thank you for reviewing our February 2021 Principal’s Message:

    Report Cards

As you know Friday, January 29, 2021 marked the end of our first semester (and the second marking period) at both JFK Middle and High School.  Report Cards became available on the eSchool student and parent portal on Tuesday, February 2nd, and a physical copy was mailed to homes on Monday, February 8th.  If you cannot access your child’s report card online, or you do not receive a physical copy in the mail please reach out to our main office so we can assist.

    Return to Hybrid

We are happy to announce that the start of the 2nd semester has gone very smoothly.  We had nearly 100 students across both schools return to our Hybrid model for in-person instruction!  If you have any questions or are in need of a paper copy of your child’s schedule, once again, please reach out to us for support.

    Winter Sports

Please view the video (above) for an update on our Winter 2021 Sports Season from Athletic Director Mr. Reiford.

    Drama Club

With the return of Winter Sports we are also able to begin offering the popular JFK Drama Club! Any students interested in participating are encouraged to sign-up.  Details will be released soon!

    Drop/Off & Pick/Up Procedure

We have worked alongside the Cheektowaga Police Department in order to develop the safest and most efficient traffic pattern in our back lot.  In an effort to keep all students, drivers, and pedestrians safe, we ask that no students pass the yellow post (pictured) in order to enter a vehicle.  All students will be asked to move to the end of the building (pictured) and enter vehicles in an orderly fashion.  All drivers, we ask that you please pull up as far as possible; allow your child(ren) to enter the vehicle; and then safely exit to the left using the exit lane.  Additionally, there is a storage unit placed on our lot which can limit the sight lines available in certain areas (pictured).  Please be aware of this storage unit and any pedestrians/other drivers as you use the exit lane.  We have timed the pick-up process, and it is very efficient--ending most days in under 7 minutes from start to finish. Once again, we thank you for your partnership.

    Winter Recess

As you are aware, our Mid-Winter Recess runs from Monday, February 15 through Friday, February 19th. We wish everyone a safe, healthy and restful mid-winter break, and look forward to resuming instruction on Monday, February 22nd.

  • Principal's Message - January 2021

Posted by Robert N. Julian, Jr. on 1/19/2021

Dear JFK Middle and High School Families,

This is Mr. Julian with the Principal’s Message for January 2021.

    New Format

I am excited to introduce our new format for our monthly Principal’s Messages.  Beginning this month, I will be adding a video update to my monthly Principal’s Messages.  It is my hope that the video component will allow a more personalized message, and offer important updates for our Middle and High School families.  I will continue to post the written updates to the Principal’s Messages on our website as well. I appreciate you taking the time to watch or listen to these newly enhanced community updates. I will organize this update by reviewing information that applies to both schools first, followed by MS only updates and finally HS only updates.

    Instructional Model Change

In early January we surveyed our District families about their 2nd semester choice for their child’s instructional model.  We are currently finalizing student placements, and will send all families a letter home in the mail on Friday, January 22nd.  Please expect to receive a letter at your home shortly after that date.  I ask that you review the letter carefully and reach out to me, Mr. Reiford, or Miss Parker if you have any concerns about your child’s placement.  Please note that if you are not changing your instructional model no action was necessary and your learning model will not change; however, you still receive a letter home.  It was important to us that all of our District families received a letter for the 2nd semester.

    COVID-19 Testing

As you are aware, we have started our COVID-19 testing protocol in the District. If your child is randomly selected to participate in the COVID-19 testing, you will receive a call directly from me where I will provide you with full details about the process.

    Academic Update

As we progress towards the end of the 1st semester, I would like to take a moment to remind our students and families about the importance of staying engaged in your school work each and every day.  Please remember to check your Google Classrooms and eSchool for pertinent information, daily assignments, progress reports, grades, and more.  Our teachers, counselors and administrators continue to contact families about our students’ academic and social emotional well-being.  Even during these difficult times we look forward to connecting with all of our students regularly, and want to remind you all that we value the work you do!

    Report Cards

As a reminder, the 2nd marking period ends on Friday, January 29th. Report cards will be available on the parent and student portal and physical copies will be mailed home shortly after that date.

    GMail / Notifications

Many times our school staff members email students directly with important school information.  To that end, it is important that each students’ district issued-email account is accessible, and our students make a regular practice of checking their district-issued account. Students may want to create folders within their inbox and ‘turn off notifications’ in order to organize and reduce emails in their inbox.  We are in the process of developing an instructional video to train students and families how to make the most of their GMail account. Stay tuned for an update soon!

    2nd Semester Schedules

It is important for all students in our hybrid model to be prepared on February 1st or February 4th with their 2nd semester course schedule.  Often times, a student’s schedule changes with the new semester, so please be sure to check the student portal on eSchool for a copy of your new schedule. If you are in need of a physical copy of your 2nd semester schedule, we ask that you contact our Guidance office soon so we can assist you.  This is especially important for students returning to in-person instruction for the first time this year.

    Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, as you may know we have our Mid-Winter Recess and all schools will be closed Monday, February 15th through Friday, February 19th. Instruction will resume Monday, February 22nd.

    PTO

As always, we encourage you to reach out to our PTO officers and/or a school administrator to join our PTO.  During our meetings we offer valuable updates for our parent community and gather input and ideas for continuous school improvement.  Our next meeting is Monday, February 8th at 6PM on zoom. Please see the PTO section on our school websites for contact information and to obtain the zoom link:

    Middle School Spirit Week

We are excited to announce a Middle School Spirit Week the week of January 25th. We encourage all students to participate! Check your Kennedy Crew Classroom for a list of the Spirit Day Themes!

    Middle School Spring Testing

In terms of standardized testing, we still do not know if the NYS Assessments in grades 6-8 will be administered this Spring.  NYS is monitoring the situation closely and updating local school districts as decisions are made.  Here at JFK Middle School we continue to teach and learn as if we will hold the typical Spring Assessments in ELA, Math, and Science.  As soon as more information is available, I will be sure to update our community.

    John F. Kennedy High School

    Regents Week

With the cancellation of January 2021 Regents Exams, we have opted to hold a typical week of instruction at the high school.  Please see the headline on our high school website for a schedule. During the week of January 25th-January 29th, students in our hybrid model will report to school on their scheduled days, and all students will report to their online classes on Wednesday, January 27th.  Once again, this will be a typical week of instruction for our HS students.

    HS Yearbook

At the high school, yearbooks are now on sale and can be ordered directly from Josten’s. Last week our High School Yearbook advisers Ms. Butera and Ms. Rinaldo emailed a link directly to all high school students’ email accounts. The 2020-2021 High School yearbooks will be $40.00, and we encourage you to order yours today!

    Computer Returns

If you were issued a special desktop computer for an Art elective course, and will not need that desktop for the 2nd semester, we ask that you please return the equipment to the HS as early as Monday, February 1st. Please contact Mrs. Capalbo with any questions.

    In Closing

I hope you have enjoyed our first installment of the Principal’s Video Messages. Thank you for listening, watching, and/or reading and please take care.

    Go Bills!

    Mr. Julian

Dear JFK Middle and High School Families:

I hope this email finds you healthy and well.  I would like to begin this month’s Principal’s Update by once again thanking everyone for their patience and support as we all navigate the current situation together.  Our Cheektowaga-Sloan families, faculty, staff, and administration continue to work daily to ensure the best possible education for our students. Thank you, sincerely, for your partnership during this challenging time.

Listed below you will find several relevant updates for our 6-12 families:

    Parent Teacher Conferences

A friendly reminder that our Parent Teacher Conferences will be held this Thursday 12/10 at both the Middle and High School.  There are still appointment slots available, so please be sure to contact your child’s teacher(s) to schedule a time to meet virtually.  Parents can use their own technology (computers, cell phones, telephones) or even their child’s district-issued chromebook to participate.

    Checking Google Classrooms Daily

Through this period of remote learning we continue to see how important it is for parents/guardians to check their child’s Google Classrooms daily.  Parental involvement is a key component to academic success--especially this year. I encourage you to continue to read through your child’s Google Classrooms daily and to contact us with any questions.

In addition to Google Classroom, please continue to check the eSchool parent portal to review your child’s grades.

Here is a link to a very detailed and helpful tutorial video explaining how to use Google Classroom: Help Center

Daily Learning for MS and HS

Attention Students: If you need extra help in your classes or would like more instructional time with your teachers in a particular course or content area, please feel free to log in to your classes daily during this temporary period of remote instruction for all.  Please remember you can also visit our Academic Learning Center (ALC) where you can sign up and receive additional support each day.

    Classroom Visitations

Principals visit virtual classrooms on a daily basis, and through these visitations we are seeing excellent teaching and learning! I’d like to thank our teachers, students, and staff for the great job! Also, I would like to provide a friendly reminder that all students should be dressed in clothing that would be appropriate for school and seated in an appropriate environment. We are still awaiting delivery of the JFK MS and JFK HS Spirit Wear items ordered in the fall. We will communicate with families as soon as we have more information and/or items to distribute. Several JFK Bears are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new JFK Spiritwear! Stay tuned for updates.

    Yearbooks and Instructional Item Pick-Up

We invite you to visit the MS or HS Main Office if you still have a 2020 Yearbook or instructional item(s) to pick up. We are on campus Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during normal school hours.

    NHS/NJHS

We are in the process of developing and distributing a virtual induction for the National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society Spring 2020 inductees. Stay tuned for updates.

    State and National Assessments

Please note that January 2021 Regents Exams have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, at this point we are still teaching, learning, and preparing as if the Middle School 3-8 New York State Assessments and June 2021 Regents Exams will be administered. We are waiting for updated guidance from NYS regarding these exam periods, but do not anticipate these updates until much closer to the exam dates.

Last year, the College Board administered AP Exams virtually, so we expect that AP Exams will be administered to students in Spring 2021.

    Dear JFK Families:

Please read the following Principal’s Message for important updates:

    Coursework & Student Engagement

Our Instructional Support Teams at both the Middle and High School continue to review student grades and levels of engagement.  It is critically important that all students complete all assignments whether in-person or while learning from home.  If you have questions, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher(s) and/or schedule an appointment for extra help through our Academic Learning Centers.  The first marking period ends Friday, November 13th.

    Halloween Reminders

As you are aware, for safety purposes we are going to make adjustments to our expectations and events for Halloween this year.  Students will be permitted to attend school in appropriate costumes according to a schedule listed below.  Additionally, if students wish to come to school in costume they must arrive at school already dressed in costume.  We cannot permit nor facilitate changing in locker rooms, restrooms, etc. as it presents a health and contamination risk.  Costumes cannot include a decorative face covering as a substitute for our daily masks, nor distract from the learning process.  School officials need to be able to check students’ temperatures, see their faces, and verify that safety masks/face coverings are properly worn.  Lastly, due to health and safety regulations we cannot permit nor facilitate the distribution of candy/food as a part of a Halloween celebration.  Thank you for your understanding!

Students who wish to dress in costumes for Halloween may do so on the following dates:

    • A Group: Tuesday, October 27th
    • All Students: Wednesday, October 28th (during Synchronous Learning)
    • B Group:  Friday, October 30th

**The annual costume contest will be held virtually this year. Information has been posted on your child’s Kennedy Crew or Advisement Google Classroom page.***

    Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held virtually this year on Thursday, December 10th.  Teachers will host sign-ups virtually, so please check your child’s Google Classrooms (or contact the teacher directly) soon for more information.  We encourage all of our parents/guardians to take advantage of this unique opportunity for a parent-teacher conference. Our teachers look forward to meeting with you!

    PTO Spirit Wear Sale

Please note our MS & HS PTO Spirit Wear Sale ends on Monday, November 2nd at midnight. Please visit the following links to purchase great new looks from our JFK online store!  Proceeds go to our PTOs who, in turn, directly support our students. See links below:

    MS: https://jfkms2020.itemorder.com/sale

    HS: https://jfkhs2020.itemorder.com/sale

We also encourage our parents/guardians to join our PTO. Membership forms are available on our website under the PTO tab and are sent home with students.  Parents/guardians can submit the $5.00 membership fee to each school’s main office with their child, or bring the funds directly to the school’s main office. Our next meeting will be held virtually on November 9th at 6 pm.  A link to our Zoom meeting will be sent to your email address if you’d like to attend.  As always, we greatly appreciate your support of our PTO!

    BOCES CTE Programming

As a reminder, JFK High School students who are enrolled in BOCES / CTE Programming but who have selected our 100% Remote Learning model are able to attend their BOCES classes in-person.  If your child would like to participate in this unique “split model” (Remote JFK, In-Person BOCES) please notify your BOCES teacher or contact me for assistance.

Thank you for reading this update!

Dear JFK Middle and High School Families:

I hope you are doing well amidst these challenging circumstances.  Whether your child is learning through our Hybrid or Remote model, we are committed to ensuring that your family has a high quality educational experience.  Listed below are several topics / updates for parents and guardians.  Some updates apply to both schools, others apply to only the Middle or High School--I have specified this in each subtitle.

As always, please contact myself, an Assistant Principal, teacher, and/or counselor with questions.

    5-Week Academic Progress Reports

Friday, October 9th marks the 5-week period for our schools.  Beginning Tuesday, October 13th, 5-week Academic Progress Reports will be available through the eSchool parent portal.  Click on the “Progress Report” tab at the top of the screen to review your child’s report.

    Picture Retake Dates

School Picture Retake dates will be posted to the front page of our JFK HS and JFK MS websites.  Retakes are available for both Hybrid and 100% Remote students.

    PTO Membership

We are excited to begin working with our MS & HS Parent-Teacher Organizations this year!  This year we will be sending membership forms home with all MS and HS students through their Kennedy Crew or Advisement classes.  We encourage you to join!  The $5.00 membership fee can be sent back to school with your child.  Our PTOs accept cash or checks made out to the PTO.  Your child can bring the completed form and fee directly to their school’s main office.  Once again, the membership fees are a valuable component of our PTOs fundraising.  We look forward to partnering with you!

Additionally, the PTO will be hosting a JFK Spirit Wear / clothing sale as our first fundraiser! Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

    Athletic Procedures

In partnership with our District Office and the ECIC, our Athletic Director Mr. Reiford has developed COVID-19 Guidelines for our community.  If you plan to attend one of our athletic events, please review the document listed on our website.  It can be found on our Athletics page under the “COVID-19 Guidelines” tab.

    Halloween

As you are aware, for safety purposes we are going to make adjustments to our expectations and events for Halloween this year.  Students will be permitted to attend school in appropriate costumes according to a schedule listed below.  Additionally, if students wish to come to school in costume they must arrive at school already dressed in costume.  We cannot permit nor facilitate changing in locker rooms, restrooms, etc. as it presents a health and contamination risk.  Costumes cannot include a decorative face covering as a substitute for our daily masks, nor distract from the learning process.  School officials need to be able to check students’ temperatures and verify that safety masks/face coverings are properly worn.

    • 100% Remote & Hybrid Students: Wednesday, October 28th (during Synchronous Learning)
    • B Group:  Friday, October 30th

    Parent Teacher Conferences

We plan to hold Parent Teacher Conferences virtually this year.  More information regarding the sign-up procedure(s) will be coming soon. The date for JFK Middle and High School is Thursday, December 10th.

    Middle School Newsletter

Please be sure to visit our Middle School Connection tab on our website to read a new monthly newsletter from Assistant Principal Miss Parker.

    Middle School AIS Screening

All middle school students must complete Math and Reading benchmarks.  Remote students receive information regarding these FastBridge Assessments through Google Classroom and school District email.  Please ensure your child has completed the necessary tests by October 15th.  It is critically important that Middle School students in our 100% Remote learning model complete these screening tests.  Students in our Hybrid model continue to be tested in-person while at school.

    High School Academic Learning Center

Our High School’s Academic Learning Center is open 9 periods per day (7:25 am - 2:16 pm) and staffed by certified teachers.  Students can schedule a “virtual meeting” with our teachers for extra help in any subject at any time during the school day.  Please look for the “ALC Anywhere” advertisements for instructions on how to schedule a meeting.  We will be emailing this information to students, and posting to our website soon.  We are excited to extend this opportunity for extra help to all of our high school students.

    High School PSAT

Unfortunately, this year’s first/primary administration of the PSAT for 11th grade students was scheduled by the College Board for a Wednesday (10/14/2020).  As you know, our buildings are closed for deep cleaning on Wednesdays.  As a result, we are not offering the PSAT on Wednesday, October 14th as previously scheduled.  However, we believe it is important to continue to offer this academic opportunity to all of our 11th grade students.  To that end, we are targeting the January administration date for the PSAT.  We will post an informative letter that provides all 11th grade students an opportunity to sign up for the PSAT which will be given on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at JFK High School.  More information to follow!

    2020 Yearbooks

I am pleased to report that as of October 7th our 2020 High School yearbooks have been shipped to JFK High School.  More information regarding the distribution of 2020 yearbooks is coming soon!

Lifetouch has informed us that they will provide me with a clear status update regarding our 2020 Middle School yearbooks as soon as possible.  I am cautiously optimistic that our MS yearbooks are not far behind.  Thank you so very much for your patience!

    Arrival and Dismissal

I would like to thank our community for following our pick-up and drop-off procedures for arrival and dismissal in the back parking lot.  Our teamwork and communication has created a safe, orderly, and efficient process for all involved--especially our students. Thank you for responding to this new procedure so well!

Once again, thank you for taking the time to read this important update.  We look forward to continuing our efforts to provide all children with a safe and enriching educational experience.

    Take Care,

    Robert Julian
