Capital Project
-
On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, the Cheektowaga-Sloan Union Free School District community voted 'YES' to accept the proposed $18,000,000 Capital Project. At a Public Hearing, Cheektowaga-Sloan residents learned that the proposed Capital Project would have no impact on the District's tax levy or tax rate. This is primarily due to the $3,500,000 that the District currently has in capital reserves which will be applied toward the needed improvements as well as the District's aid ratio, which is quite high at 88.6%.As a result of this vote, the District can now move forward in making these much needed improvement. This Capital Project focuses on health, safety and building improvements for students, staff and all who use our buildings.Capital Project - What has been done so far?
